The presentation will cover the historical and contemporary complexities between the photographic medium and the field of art. We will cover the identity crisis of photography's pictorial flair from the 19th century through to its modern impact today. We will also discuss the essence of the relationship between photography collecting, the art market, and fashion trends in contemporary photography.
